Richard Eugene Geer

     Richard E. Geer, 43, a resident of Jerome and formerly of Gooding, passed away on January 8, 2024 at his home in Jerome.

     Richard was born on May 5, 1980 in Gooding, Idaho, the son of Ralph and Connie Geer.  He was raised and educated in Shoshone during his grade school years. He later attended and graduated from Gooding High School.

     He married Morgan Harms on July 17, 1999 in Gooding.  They were later divorced. 

     He is survived by: his mother – Connie Geer; his father – Ralph (Sherry) Geer; one son – Dylan Geer; one daughter – Ayla Geer; one brother – Landon (Laura) Scheer; four sisters – Carrie (James) Kimball, Amanda (Kyle Hoskins) Campbell, Brea (Dan) Duffy and Elisha (Trent) Horrocks; two grandchildren – Raelynn and Scarlett Geer (children of Dylan Geer and Mickkael Twitchell); uncle – Ron (Luann) Geer; aunts – Kim (Nathan) Bishop, Mickie Karlson, Debbie (Ron) Young, Teresa Peterson and Maria Gurr;  nieces – Harli (Lance) Lugo, Stella and Kennleigh Arters; nephew-Connor (Jerrica) Kimball: his partner - Malisa Norris.

     He was preceded in death by: his grandfathers – Dick Geer and Bob Campbell; grandmothers – Barbara Geer and Beverly Ciscar; and a cousin – Daniel Young.

     A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 12:00 pm at the Wendell American Legion Hall. 

     Inurnment will take place at the Hagerman Cemetery in Hagerman at a later date.

     Memorial contributions may be made to help with funeral expenses to Demaray Funeral Service, Dylan Geer, or Carrie Kimball.
