Robert Lee Kolman

May 18, 1956 ~ December 21, 2021 (age 65)


     Robert Lee Kolman, 65, of Hagerman, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at his home with his wife by his side.

     Robert was born on May 18, 1956 to Bob and Shirley Kolman in Sacramento, California.  The family later moved to Dietrich.

     In 1975 he met the love of his life, Kathy Dwyer and married her on November 19, 1976.  They were blessed with two children, Eric - born January 1st and Stacey - born on July 4th.

     Robert was a hard worker.  He worked in construction in Rexburg when the Teton Dam broke, and later worked for Union Pacific Railroad in Pocatello.  In 1983 the family moved to Bellevue where they lived for over 30 years.  Robert and his father owned a tire store in Hailey.

     Robert loved construction and he started his own business – Kolman Concrete.  Robert retired in 2018 due to health issues.  He was so proud that Eric kept the business going.

     Robert and Kathy retired in Hagerman.  Robert loved hunting, fishing, camping, the cabin, trap shooting and going to Arizona in the winter.

     Robert is survived by: his wife – Kathy; their two children – Eric and Stacey; and his four grandchildren – Samantha, Isaac, Kaylee and Cassidy; his sister – Deanna (Denis) Perron; brother-in-law – Joe Gonzalez; and many extended family members.

     He was preceded in death by: his parents – Bob and Shirley; and his sister – Frances, better known as Fran or Franny.

     Robert never met a stranger or held a grudge.  He will be missed by many.  His amazing laugh and his sparkling blue eyes will never be forgotten.

     A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Gooding L.D.S. Church.  Services will conclude at the Church.

     Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
