     Robert Christian Moore, 54, a resident of Wendell, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

     Robert was born on July 29, 1971 in Jerome, Idaho, the son of Dennis and Pam Moore. He was raised in Jerome and served a mission to the Philippines. He then obtained his teaching degree from Idaho State University. Robert married Candice Adams on August 1, 2003 in the Boise Idaho Temple.

     Robert dedicated 27 years to the Wendell School District, where he influenced and inspired countless students throughout his teaching career. Beyond the classroom, he served as a volunteer EMT for the Wendell community beginning in 2008, demonstrating a commitment to helping others. Robert consistently put the needs of others first.

Robert's dedication to his students reached far beyond the school day. He spent countless hours supporting them in ways both seen and unseen; attending football games to provide medical assistance, quietly purchasing school supplies for those in need, and even covering sports fees so students could participate and feel included. He never sought recognition for these acts of kindness; he simply wanted every kid to have the opportunity to succeed. Robert was an advocate for his students. He believed in them, stood up for them, and worked to ensure they knew they were valued. The difference he made in their lives will be remembered for years to come.

     Robert loved being a father. His two children were his greatest pride and joy, and he treasured the time they spent together. He had a deep love of history, particularly military history, and enjoyed sharing stories and fascinating facts with his children and others. He was also an avid sports fan who rarely missed a chance to cheer on his favorite teams.

     Robert is survived by his wife - Candice; his children - Elsie and Zach; his parents-Dennis and Pam; his brothers -John (Robin), Brian (Rochelle), David (Lisa); as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and close friends who will cherish his memory.

     He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

     Robert left us way too soon. While his passing has been a devastating blow to his family and friends, we take comfort knowing that we will be reunited again someday. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

     A viewing will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and again on Tuesday from 12:00 to 12:45 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wendell.

     A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 1:00 pm also at The Church.

     Burial will follow at the Wendell Cemetery in Wendell.
