Rosa Lee Rose, 91, a resident of Gooding, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 in Boise.
Rosa Lee Myers was born on March 5, 1933 in Lockwood, Missouri, the daughter of Tren and Marie Myers.
Rosa Lee was three years old when they moved to Gooding. Her first memories are of living in a tent when they first moved here. Growing up, she was inspired by her Sunday School teacher and was baptized in the fourth grade. She was a lifelong, devoted Christian, sharing her beliefs through helping others in both her nursing practice and her extensive volunteer work. She graduated from Gooding High School and went on to get her Nursing Degree at Deconis and Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington.
Rosa enjoyed many hobbies, including: baking, quilting, reading, decorating, gardening, canning, traveling, and going to the family cabin her father built. She was proud of her long nursing career at the Gooding Hospital, her Campfire Girl leadership, and being a Top Seller for Mary Kay. But nothing made her more proud than being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and servant to God.
She is survived by her son – Casey Lee Rose; her daughters – Ann Marie (Rich) Paulson and Barbara Louise (Jon) Vlaming; as well as six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband – Paul Danford Rose; as well as her parents; her two sisters, her brother; and one grandson.

Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding.
