Ruth Marie (Dupont) Adams

   Ruth Marie (Dupont) Adams, 87, entered into rest June 7, 2021 with her granddaughter and daughter by her side in Gooding, Idaho.

   Mom was born at home in Riley Township, Michigan on January 22, 1934, to Julces and Yulah (Smith) Dupont. She was raised on the family farm in Romeo, Michigan and being the eldest child, she was grandpa’s best farmhand.

   She married Kenny Adams on November 5, 1955 and they moved to southern California where they worked in the aircraft industry.  She later worked for Los Angeles County retiring in 1989.

   Mom and dad made many road trips across the country.  She enjoyed many cruises, bus trips with friends and family, and playing pinochle and bridge with her buddies.

   She is survived by her son - Earl (Karen) Adams; daughters - Mary Lou (Simon) and Patricia (Rick) VanWy; grandchildren - Kendee, Christopher, Ashley (Tyler), Kimberly (Wayne) and Catherine; great-grandchildren - Julie, Gotham, Nikolai, Alex, Braxton, Cameron, Ryker, Trevor, Gunnar, Grettir, Annika, Ishod, Ulla, Philomena and one on the way; her sister – Mary Jane; sister-in-law - Linda; nieces and nephews - Gay, John, Andrew and Julie.

   She was preceded in death by her Husband- Kenny; parents - Julces and Yulah; “Baby Brother”- Robert; brother-in-law - John; and adopted daughter - Patricia Virlene.

   Mom you were the wind beneath my wings and I will miss you dearly.

   A memorial service will take place at a later date.

   The family would like to thank all who assisted with her care.
