Samuel W. Seamons, 21, of Williston, ND left this earthly sphere on March 5, 2024 in Gillette, WY.

Born Samuel Ryan Jeske on October 24, 2002 in Claremont, NH to parents Jennifer (Ferland) and Ryan Jeske. Sam’s earliest years were spent hand in hand with his older sister Emma. At two years old, they were joined by brother Benjamin and have been inseparable ever since. Raised on sunshine, open fields, puddles and mud, Sam loved anything he could take apart and put back together. He tinkered before he could walk. Siblings Daniel and Leah joined the family before his parents divorced in 2010.

In 2011, Sam’s life changed in a big way when his mother married Dennis Seamons and he became a step brother to Stephen, Dennis Jr (Garth), Rebecca, Faith and Emily. One more brother joined them all, Jacob.

He continued to grow in the sun and mud, and added in the experiences of picking rock, raising bottle calves, tearing apart old lawn mowers, and building things on wheels that have no names with anything he could find.

In 2018 at the age of 15, Sam and his siblings were adopted by Dennis; and Sam chose his new name: Samuel Wayne Seamons.

He graduated from an online school during the aftermath of the covid pandemic and made Williston, ND his home. He loved the work he found there, finding new ways to get as filthy as possible in the oil field industry.

At the beginning of this year, he started welding school to pursue certification in Gillette, WY.

Sam leaves behind a legacy of service and loyalty. He was a friend to all he met. His infectious smile and giggle will not be long forgotten. He worked hard and played hard. His love for God showed through in his love for his fellow man. He also leaves a slew of projects; an outward sign of his busy, creative mind. He was influenced by many good men in the many places he lived from New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Washington, Idaho, Iowa, and North Dakota.

Sam is survived by his parents, siblings, grandparents Bernard and Rebecca Ferland (of Twin Falls, ID), Garth and Diana Seamons (Rexburg, ID), Sandy and Davy Kranz (Gooding, ID), Doris and Wayne Jeske (Tilleda, WI), and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on March 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Gooding, ID at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Friends and family will be received that day from 10:00 -10:45.

A memorial service will be held on March 13, 2024 at 6 PM in Williston, ND at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
