Sandra Moon was born February 9, 1940, and passed away November 21, 2025.
Sandy was raised in Shoshone, daughter of Edward and Irene Schwager. She had one brother, Larry.
She was active in many clubs in school. was a cheerleader, and was homecoming royalty and the homecoming queen. Her nickname was “Sammy Legs.”
She had a horse she loved riding. She swam in the river and had fun with her friends. Her best friend was her cousin Sharon.
Mom put herself through nursing school, and became an LPN. She spent most of her adult life caring for others.
She met Bill Moon in the Jerome hospital when he was a patient. They had been together almost 60 years when he passed away. They raised 2 girls in Shoshone.
She loved gardening, flowers, and her pets. She took the grandsons on bike rides, walks to the park, and to the river to look for clamshells.
Sandy is survived by her daughters; Melody and Crystal (Gary), three grandsons; Brent, Matt and Shawn, and Six great grand Kids.
We would like to thank Canyons Memory Care and Heritage Hospice for the care and love they gave mom these last Five years. She left behind many a Stuffed animal to be remembered by.
