Sharon Nadine (Pierce) Wiltse

     Sharon Nadine Pierce Wiltse, 78, passed away peacefully in her home on the morning of September 15, 2025.

     She was born on January 23, 1947 in Rosebud, South Dakota, to Arthur and Phyllis Pierce.  The oldest of seven children, she spent much of her childhood on a reservation in South Dakota.  At the age of 16, the family moved to Kimberly, Idaho, where she later graduated from high school.

     Throughout her adult life she called several places in the Magic Valley home, but Gooding became her place of choice.  She worked for several years as a bank teller – where many still remember her welcoming smile – and later at the Gooding County Assessor’s Office before retiring to spend time in her beloved garden.  She was a community volunteer, an avid reader, and a devoted gardener whose flowers reflected her joy and care.

     She was proceeded in death by her parents – Arthur and Phyllis Pierce; her sister – Patricia Pierce; and her brother – Aaron “Dan” Antelope.

     She will be forever loved and deeply missed by her sweetheart – Robert Wiltse; their children – Alecia Rock, David (April) Harden, Paul Wiltse and Patty (Justin) Kuntz; her grandchildren – Kendall, McKayla, Dylan, Brenden (Majen), Dakota (Ashlynn), Seth, Jett, Jerrika, Kiley, Alyssa and Kaiden; twelve great-grandchildren; her sisters – Jacque, Ardith (Bruce), and Nikki; her brother – John (Barb); and many nieces and nephews.  Known as “Meme” to many, she leaves behind a legacy of love that will be cherished always.

     In keeping with Sharon’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.

     Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.

     The family asks that she be remembered fondly and encourages memorial contributions to the Gooding Public Library District.
