Stanley Andrews, 87, a resident of Wendell, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by family on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He will be spending Christmas with the love of his life and wrapped in the arms of all those that have preceded him in death.
Stanley Murphy Andrews was born May 10, 1934 to his parents, Lois and Enos Andrews. Stanley was raised with six siblings that he loved dearly.
He attended school in Wendell, Idaho where he met the love of his life, Bonnie Geneva Andrews (Harms). The two were married in Elko, Nevada on December 29, 1958. Stanley is a veteran of the United States Army where he spent several years in Germany. He was a morse code interpreter and then he was released to the Reserves prior to returning home to his family.
He and Bonnie built a beautiful life together. They bought a farm where they raised their two sons. As life moved on, the family grew larger with many grandchildren. Stanley and Bonnie enjoyed camping, Sunday drives, jigsaw puzzles, dominos and pinochle. They would host parties with family and friends to play cards and laugh. Stanley always brought joy to all those who met him. Even in his final months, he always found a unique way to make everyone laugh and smile. He loved his dear wife even after she took her last breath.
