Sunny Charlene Tate

     Sunny Charlene Tate, 79, a resident of Fairfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at her home in Fairfield.

     Sunny was born on December 27, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the daughter of Gradey and Katie Terry.  She was raised and educated in Louisiana, California and Idaho.

     Sunny married Mark Tate on October 23, 1993 in Fairfield, Idaho, where they have remained for the last 30 years.

     She is survived by: her husband – Mark Tate of Fairfield; her son – Brian Luck of Layton, Utah; her step-son – Travis Tate of Fairfield; her sister – Shirley Johnson of Cotton Valley, Louisiana; five grandchildren – Cody Callendar, Kylee Crumpton, Shea Best, Benjamin Luck and Bridon Callendar; and four great grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by: her son – Timothy Callendar; and her sisters – Connie Callendar and Alice Jordon.

     A celebration of life will be held on a later date.

     Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
