Tyler D. Burlingame, born on May 5, 1976, in Boise, Idaho, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
He was raised in Eagle, Idaho, and attended school there until age 15, when his family relocated to McCall in 1992. He graduated from McCall-Donnelly High School in 1994. From a young age, Tyler embraced his passions for skiing, snowboarding, motorcycle racing, and hunting, often enjoying these activities with his father. He pursued his education at BYU Idaho in Rexburg for a year before transferring to North Idaho College in Coeur d'Alene, where he honed his skills in mechanics, auto body repair, and auto painting, ultimately shaping his lifelong career.
Tyler served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brisbane, Australia, from 1999 to 2001. He was blessed with three children—Suzy, Joshua, and Danica—from a previous marriage before meeting Manda Haye, the love of his life. They were married on September 25, 2020, during which Tyler gained two beloved step-sons, J.J. and Tyler.
As an adult, Tyler continued his love for speed by racing stock cars, where he had first met Manda. A decade after their initial introduction, Tyler proposed to her. She inspired his passion for motorsports and hunting. Tyler also had a profound love for nature and hunting; a bond strengthened through experiences shared with his father. In recent years, he cherished the opportunity to teach his son how to hunt, often expressing his pride in all his children’s accomplishments. A devoted father, Tyler supported each of his children in their pursuits and took immense pride in their successes. His spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he loved, and he will be remembered for his warmth, passion, and unwavering support.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
