William "Sonny" Arthur Bradshaw Jr.

     William “Sonny” Arthur Bradshaw Jr, 70, a resident of Murtaugh passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 24, 2024 at the Idaho Falls Community Hospital. 

    Sonny was born on May 12, 1954 in Burley ID, the son of William Arthur Bradshaw and Marjorie Vansant.  He was raised and educated in Burley, Idaho, graduating from Burley High School in 1972. 

     Sonny went on to later earn a technical certificate in horse management from the College of Southern Idaho in 1996.  This was one of his most proud moments.  Sonny lived a Cowboys life.  He traveled the rodeo circuit and was an accomplished bareback bronc rider in his early years.  He moved to Arizona and was a ranch hand for several years after that.  He enjoyed everything horses.  He loved to ride them, he loved to work with them, and he loved to talk about them.  Sonny enjoyed the simple life and he always enjoyed coming home to the farm and his mother Marjorie. 

     Sonny was preceded in death by his parents - William and Marjorie Bradshaw. 

     He is survived by his siblings - brothers Raymond and Jerald Bradshaw; sisters - Tina (Bob) Williams and Ellen Bradshaw; sons - Shawn Bradshaw and Levi (Amber) Bradshaw; and daughter - Crystal (Jeff) Spackman; and grandchildren - Bailey and Paige Spackman and Steven Bradshaw. 

     The family would like to extend their gratitude to Doctors Miller and Grover and the medical staff at Idaho Falls Community Hospital for their diligent care and kindness. 

     Cremation arrangements are under the care of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.

     Sonny requested that no formal funeral arrangements be made.
