Yvonne "Vonnie" Denise (Avery) Mallane

     Yvonne Denise Mallane, lovingly known as "Vonnie," was born Yvonne Denise Avery on February 17, 1949, in Enid, Oklahoma.

     She passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho, at the age of 76.

     Vonnie was preceded in death by her father, Richard “Dick” Avery, and her mother, Mildred “Midge” Avery.

     As the daughter of a dedicated Air Force serviceman, she spent her early years living in Japan and Italy.

     Her family was later stationed in California, where she attended Oxnard High School and graduated in 1967.

     After high school, Vonnie and her close friend Daphne made the adventurous decision to move to Sun Valley, Idaho a move that changed her life forever. It was there she met the love of her life, Thomas Mallane.

     They were married on August 18, 1978, beginning a lifelong journey filled with love, laughter, and deep connection.

     In 1991, Tommy and Vonnie moved to Hagerman, Idaho, where they built a peaceful and fulfilling life together in the heart of the Magic Valley.

     Vonnie was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a cherished great-grandmother.

     She was known for her kind heart, quick wit, and her ability to make anyone feel welcome.

     Her warmth, humor, and gentle wisdom left an impression on everyone who knew her.

     She is survived by her husband, Thomas Mallane; her daughter, Angela Mallane; her stepchildren, Tony Mallane and Tara Mallane; her grandchildren, Hannah Palmer and Bubby Palmer; and her great-grandchildren, AJ Reynolds and Alesie Palmer.

      Vonnie will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Her spirit, love, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

      A celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 3 pm-5 pm at the Malad Gorge State Park in Hagerman.

     Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service – Gooding Chapel.
